Andrew Lachman serves on the Culver City Finance Advisory Committee, which makes recommendations regarding business licenses taxes, bond and sales tax spending and other programs.

From 2009-2013 he served as a member of the Los Angeles City Innovation and Performance Commission,eventually serving as vice chair of the commission. He was also a New Leaders Program alum of the Los Angeles Jewish Federation.
